Who it's for
Choose your path into AI fluency.
Bring AI fluency to your students.
A practical, hands-on workshop for schools and sixth forms, moving student groups beyond basic AI awareness into responsible, useful, hands-on capability.
What we teach
The two core areas students master.
Two skills for two stages. Using AI to learn more effectively today, and learning to build with it for what comes next.
Outcomes & benefits
What everyone walks away with.
Real, immediate capability for students, and clear, lasting value for your school.
For students What students walk away with
A smarter way to learn
Students learn how to use AI for revision, active recall, explanation, essay planning, feedback, and independent study without becoming dependent on it.
Using AI to sharpen their thinking
They practise briefing AI clearly, giving context, asking better questions, challenging weak answers, checking assumptions, and improving outputs through iteration.
The confidence to build powerful AI tools of their own
Students create an assistant, workflow, or prototype using modern AI systems, linked to a real academic, creative, or practical use case they can develop further after the workshop.
Responsible AI judgement
They learn where AI is useful, where it fails, how hallucinations happen, why verification matters, and how to use AI ethically in an academic environment.
Creative problem-solving confidence
The workshop helps students move from passive users to active builders: spotting problems, designing solutions, testing ideas, and improving them.
Debate, discussion, and presentation confidence
Students take part in detailed discussion about the benefits, limits, risks, and practical implications of AI use, challenge one another’s thinking, and explain what they built with clarity, confidence, and ownership.
For your school What schools gain
A credible AI fluency programme
Give students practical exposure to AI without needing to design an internal programme from scratch.
A balanced message
The workshop avoids both hype and fear. Students learn that AI is powerful, imperfect, and best used with judgement.
Visible student output
Students leave with something they built and can explain, making the learning visible to staff, parents, and peers.
A repeatable annual model
The workshop can run each year for new student cohorts, creating a practical AI fluency touchpoint across the calendar.
A timely offer for ambitious families
Parents are increasingly asking what skills students will need next. This gives schools a credible, practical answer.
A programme that complements academic support
It helps students use AI to learn, think, plan, research, and build more effectively.
Schools & sixth forms
AI fluency workshops for student groups.
The same core workshop can be delivered in school and sixth form settings. It is designed primarily for sixth form students, with adaptations available by exception depending on age, ability, and context.
Flexible formats
Delivered as a single focused module or as the full programme, depending on your timetable, priorities, and group. The full programme is the complete experience; modules are a way to start.
Module 1
AI for Learning
Using AI to revise, recall, plan essays, and understand difficult material without becoming dependent on it. Students leave with a personal, repeatable way to study with AI.
Module 2
AI for Building
The hands-on build sprint. Students design and build a useful AI tool, assistant, or workflow tied to a real goal, and leave with something they made and can explain.
Flagship format
The Full Programme
Both modules delivered together, the complete experience. Students learn, build, and present, moving from AI awareness to responsible, hands-on capability. This is the definitive version of the workshop; individual modules are focused entry points into it.
The workshop can be adapted for school priorities, student ability, available time, safeguarding requirements, and AI policy requirements.
AI fluency for educators.
Professional development that gives teachers the confidence to guide students towards using AI well, deepening their learning and building responsible habits, in an AI-shaped classroom.
Outcomes
What teachers walk away with.
Confident, responsible AI use staff can take into the very next lesson, and pass on to students.
Use AI to deepen understanding, not shortcut it
See first-hand how AI, used well, helps students genuinely grasp a topic rather than skip the thinking, mapped to each stage of learning, from first understanding to retrieval practice and feedback.
Get students wanting to use AI well
Leave with concrete techniques that make understanding-led use more rewarding than copy-paste, so good habits come from motivation, not just rules and warnings.
Confidence to guide students
Teach responsible, productive AI use, model it yourself, set clear expectations, and recognise misuse rather than fearing it.
A balanced, evidence-aware stance
Understand where AI genuinely helps and where it fails, grounded in current research on AI and learning rather than hype or fear, including what “cognitive debt” means for your classroom.
AI-resilient tasks & assessment
Design lessons and assessments that stay meaningful in a world of AI, with practical alternatives to the unreliable detection tools and outright bans most schools fall back on.
Practical tools you keep
A take-home kit you can use straight away: a personal library of prompts; a one-page map of which AI tool suits each stage of learning; a quick checklist for sense-checking anything AI produces; and ready-to-adapt classroom guidance and a simple AI-use policy. Plus a completion certificate.
The workshop
A practical workshop for teaching staff.
One focused, hands-on session built around using AI to deepen student learning, guide it responsibly, and handle the everyday realities of teaching. Practical, not abstract theory.
What the workshop covers
A single, practical session designed to leave every member of staff more confident and better equipped, whatever their starting point.
How AI really works
A plain-English foundation: what AI and AI agents actually are, and why they get things wrong, so staff can judge any tool.
AI across the learning journey
Applying AI to the real stages of learning, retrieval, spacing and feedback, so it strengthens memory rather than replacing it.
Responsible and safe use
The wider responsible-AI picture: handling data sensibly, recognising bias and hallucination, thinking critically about AI-generated content, and modelling honest, transparent use for students.
AI-resilient assessment
Designing tasks and assessments that stay meaningful, without relying on detection tools that are demonstrably unreliable.
The future-ready classroom
The durable human skills, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving, that matter more as AI spreads.
From shortcut to understanding
Practical techniques to get students choosing to learn with AI, rather than leaning on it to cut corners.
Personalised AI support for your child.
One-to-one sessions that help your child use AI as a genuine learning and building partner, with structure, judgement, and responsible habits that last.
